Troy Englehart is the Director of Human Performance at Evolution Sports Physiotherapy, Inc.  He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and an Advanced Olympic Lifting Coach (AOLC) through Totten Training. More importantly, he is also an Athletic Trainer licensed by the Maryland State Board of Physicians; thus enabling him to take an active role in the prevention, clinical evaluation and assessment, immediate care and treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning for the physically active person.

Troy utilizes an integrated approach to sports performance conditioning and skill development.  He believes coordinated fundamental movement patterns are the essential building blocks for anyone interested in maintaining a physically active lifestyle or increasing their strength and performance in their sport.  He integrates advanced Olympic level weight lifting techniques, the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Screen (SFMA) to design individualized post – op reconditioning programs, injury prevention programs and sports specific strength and conditioning programs. Furthermore, Troy will be spearheading the Long Term Athletic Development Program, Sports Specific Injury Prevention Programs, and Evolution Sports’ Barbell Club.

Prior to joining Evolution Sports, Troy attended college on a football scholarship to Millersville University of Pennsylvania (MU) while concurrently attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from MU and receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.  He provides Athletic Training services for Baltimore County Schools, Club Teams, and Recreational Sports programs.  Furthermore, he has a deep passion for developing individualized programs that maximize human performance of both  youth and adult athletes alike whose competition levels range from novice to elite.
