Running Form Clinic
Evolution Sports is committed to delivering the best care for its community. This involves educating and training individuals in the most efficient and effective way to perform activities – from jumping to squatting to running.
Our 3-part running clinic will take an objective approach to improve your running form by performing a video analysis from pre to post-clinic sessions in order to identify progress and ongoing focus points. Each session will provide a home program for independent work between sessions.
Session 1 will educate and discuss identification and development of best practices for running form. Whether an athlete’s goals are for distance running or field/court performance, Evolution will break down the key foundations of how to use your body to full potential. Running should feel “easier, lighter, faster” after practiced focus on these foundations.
Session 2 will add the skills needed to improve speed and quickness. Participants will undergo further running drills to learn acceleration as well as footwork drills to increase speed and cadence. This can translate to better pace times, but also to safer and more effective change of direction, explosiveness and balance with sports.
Session 3 will round out the topics with a final video comparison of pre and post clinic form for participants. We will also identify individual focus points for continued independent work.
